We welcome you to the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus, which was established in 1982 and has since been consistently dedicated to education, research, and service to society.

Our undergraduate programme attracts high-calibre students and is comparable to those offered by leading universities internationally. Our graduates acquire a strong foundation in economic science and its analytical tools, enjoy excellent career prospects in both the public and private sectors, and many go on to pursue postgraduate or doctoral studies at top universities across Europe and the United States.
